Stop Measuring Your Morning by the Spark

That flat morning isn't broken: it's your brain in surgical mode.

You woke up flat. No fire. No creative lightning. Just a dry, responsible hum like your entire system clocked in for a desk job it didn’t apply for. By 10am you’d already called it a bad day. Scrolled for motivation. Tried to force a vision. Stared at the screen like it owed you a revelation and the screen just sat there like a therapist who charges by the hour and says nothing.

You’re measuring a precision morning with an inspiration ruler.

Low-energy mornings shut down every decorative function and keep only what’s accurate. That flat feeling is your brain in surgical mode. The invoice. The boundary. The price you keep postponing because your “inspired self” finds admin spiritually beneath her.

She’s not coming until evening. And when she does, she’ll float in with candles and feelings and big beautiful ideas that need a floor to land on.

Guess who builds the floor. You. At 8am. In pyjamas. Uninspired and finally useful. The spark gets the credit. The pyjamas do the work.
