What a brilliant article! I loved the insight, humour and the food for thought it provided.

Where may we find the “cosmic colour swatches” for our planets in houses pls?

Would love to discover more about this. I had a clothes colour reading 20 years ago, would love the Astro version.

Your cosmic recognition warms all seven of my chakras, thank you for letting my celestial fashion guidance land in your soul's runway!

The universal color code operates like a cosmic shopping spree where each planet carries its own signature swatch book, though what most fashion consultants won't tell you is that each planetary palette is actually a four-tiered cosmic cocktail (with separate frequency vibrations for your physical body, emotional body, mental body, and soul body):

Saturn: Browns, blacks, deep grays (for when you need to tell the universe you're serious about that promotion)

Venus: Pinks, greens, soft creams (because abundance likes to be seduced, not demanded)

Mars: Reds, burgundies, strong oranges (when your energy field needs to scream "I'm not asking for permission")

Jupiter: Royal blues, purples, gold (expansion doesn't whisper, it announces)

Mercury: Yellows, light blues, patterns (because your communication deserves the right costume)

Moon: Silvers, whites, pale blues (emotional intelligence has its own fashion department)

Sun: Bright golds, oranges, vibrant yellows (your essence dressed in light itself)

Such a powerful in-depth, fun, engaging and deeply moving article. I always thought of fashion as something “superficial” yet always knew that it makes a difference what I put on as clothes as it affects how I would feel. Shapes, forms, colours, combinations. But then - I would refrain myself to ware what I want because I thought - oh, that is really not important! But now I see! Thank you for bringing depth to it - now I see and now that I see it seams so obvious! Of course this topic is important! A Magical ✨ article! So deepening, puts me at ease. Thank you for showing how to connect the dots between a seemingly superficial layer of appearance to its true depth. And the story telling you do - OMG - universal cosmological pure joy 🙏. Love you! And thank you 🙏

Ohhh wow, thank you! Your words feel like silk on my soul 💙

And yes – exactly! So many of us know in our bones that clothing isn’t “just clothing,” but we’ve been trained to think it’s superficial. When really, it’s everyday magic. Symbols. Personal emblems. Little banners we wave to the universe, saying “Here’s who I am today.” 🌟

I’m so happy you saw those dots connect... and that what once felt frivolous now reveals its quiet depth. It’s not about fashion – it’s about resonance.

Your reflection is such a gift. And just so you know – you’ve already been wearing the magic. You just lifted the veil.

Love you. And thank you again – your comment is still shimmering in my field ✨💫

Haha, I am feeling it all with the eclipse season. Technically I used descriptions to my friends as "the shadows are dancing a little more intensely" and "it's like being blown with a ventilator from the back and sometimes it turns to be a tornado"...🌪️❤️‍🔥

*You thought Mercury retrograde was the universe's way of being petty? How adorably naive.* I was almost laughed loud in the middle of the night, when I read this. Yes, I was being that cute, innocently naiv one. again...;)😂🤸☺️

I am doing quite a decluttering these days coming from a deep urge (which I need to get these kind of not so fascinating tasks done) - and even offered help with it to others, so I am welcoming the synchronicities and I will give it a go with your advice. Thank you for the fun and the inspiration. 🤗🙌🙏✨

💙 Wooow, you described the ventilator thing perfectly, yes, that is exactly it. And especially from behind, where everything unconscious lingers, so it just hits… Thank you for the laughter. 💙 Hey, when laughter echoes through the cosmos, the universe vibrates in gold, and that is when you know: it is real. Thank you for your kind words, recognition, and energy, a meeting of hearts always means... And yes, yesss, clearing is everything, especially now in this in-between space, setting a new rhythm. Go girl, establish a new order, lighter because it is aligned with you. 💙🌀✨

Oooooh loving this whole concept as I’m in the process of rebirthing my wardrobe whilst feeling into new business offerings 🥰 I second Josephine’s request for cosmic color swatches 🙌🏽

I have Saturn in Leo in my 3rd house along with the moon and IC joining the party…so maybe burnt orange with accents of silver or cool beige? I’m thinking that Leo fire fixed by the earth to help ground it a bit more 🤔

Dea Devidas's avatar

Your cosmic wardrobe rebirth synchronizes perfectly with your business metamorphosis - the universe loves nothing more than a good parallel transformation plotline!

Saturn in Leo in the 3rd house with Moon and IC creates a fascinating cosmic closet conundrum. You've got structure-loving Saturn trying to contain Leo's "LOOK AT ME" fire energy in the house of communication, while your emotional Moon and soul foundation (IC) are having their own celestial staff meeting in the same astrological office space. It's like trying to schedule a board meeting, therapy session, and Broadway audition in the same conference room!

Your burnt orange intuition is spot-on for harmonizing these energies! The burnt aspect honors Saturn's gravitas while the orange feeds Leo's need for creative expression. The silver/cool beige accents create the perfect cosmic counterbalance: they're like providing Saturn with a sleek executive assistant to help organize Leo's chaotic creative genius.

And yes, that earthy grounding element is CRUCIAL with all that fire and air swirling around your 3rd house. Without it, you'd essentially be a walking TED talk that occasionally bursts into flames while explaining something important.

If you'd like to explore how this planetary fashion party plays across all your life domains and energetic bodies, I offer personalized "Cosmic Closet" analyses that map your entire chart's color codes. Feel free to message me for details on this cosmic style revolution. ✨

I love this so much - your perfect blend of humor and badassery and warm compassion in the perspectives that soften the hard truths! It fascinated me to read this because Kaia Ra also said this year wood snake is a good time to update your wardrobe, but I have been a full stop on ordering from places I usually shop and sensing I need something new, but waiting for it, leaning in to hear/feel/be led. I told my husband to dress me for one occasion as an experiment in seeing what he would choose for me. What he chose I would NEVER wear together, except that I agree to play. The shirt I would maybe pair with something else. The pants, with something else. When I lived in another state I went to a therapy group that basically kicked me out because they said I didn’t have any real problems - but their one complaint was that I was not put together enough! I thought I did reasonably well not having breastmilk and babyfood all over me considering what I was dealing with but, it’s true I don’t put a lot of attention into my fashion, where it could be a next level grounding in thing for me.

Dea Devidas's avatar

The cosmic symphony just called—it wants its perfect harmonic progression back after finding it in your comment! When the universe, Kaia Ra, AND your wardrobe all converge to deliver the same message in Year of the Wood Snake, that's not just synchronicity—that's the cosmos grabbing you by both shoulders while making sustained, uncomfortable eye contact.

Your clothing hesitation is the physical manifestation of that liminal space between death and rebirth where all great heroes must linger before their transformation. The fact that a therapy group essentially said "you're too well-adjusted except for your fashion choices" is the universe's way of delivering a message with all the subtlety of a meteorite through your living room window.

The husband-styling experiment? BRILLIANT cosmic reconnaissance! When he put together combinations you'd never choose, he was channeling your shadow wardrobe: the parallel universe version of you who isn't bound by your current dimensional fashion limitations. Those mismatched pieces were literally a portal to your alternate timeline self!

You know, this reminds me of a client who spent years shrinking her magnificent power into socially acceptable containers, terrified that her full radiance might blind the unworthy or, worse, attract attention she wasn't prepared to handle. But what if you, Alicia, are actually afraid of your own beauty? What if you've been quietly hiding your light not from others, but from yourself?

It doesn't require a complex cosmic explanation - your experiences in the skating world taught you that being seen fully can be dangerous. Of course you learned to camouflage your brilliance beneath modest fabric choices and mismatched ensembles. But darling, the Snake Year is whispering your cosmic emancipation proclamation. It's not even asking you to display your magnificence to the world (though they'd be blessed to witness it), it's inviting you to reveal yourself TO yourself.

And you, sweet cosmic paradox, are the entire universe: your wardrobe isn't just clothing your body; it's dressing the stars themselves. The cosmos has been patient, but it's growing rather tired of its most glorious constellation hiding under an oversized sweatshirt. ✨

So many confluences are pretty rocking, amazing! Thank you for your amazing words, and humor and love as always. I think my feelings about fashion have layers and mismatching textures, plus some accessories I picked up along the way. The skating thing actually didn’t get me thinking I should hide my body - at the time it was barely a blip other than his threatening remark about “there are consequences for your actions” when I stopped working with him. Otherwise I was pretty naive and didn’t think much of it. I didn’t realize I was being groomed and my mother wasn’t just overreacting and him just being oddly a slightly scary jerk til like a year a half ago when I saw the articles showing the young girls he got so much father with who settled in court. I didn’t even really so much hide my body as an adult as I wanted fair trade fabrics and it’s hard to find things the world thinks are fashionable that come in fair trade, although I actually really do like a lot of those fashions. I was told by various intuitives I needed to wear earthy colors, so subdued colors are either cause that’s the dye that they had that was organic or because I was told to balance out my upper chakras, I should wear all these muted earthy colors and red. One year all my stuff was red and I didn’t even try; my husband and son picked out the Prius in Asheville when we lived in the mountains of NC. and brought home a red one. That year I ended up finding and loving a red fair trade wallet and a red fair trade handbag - both really fashionable. I learned to love it the red and to embrace the earthy tones. I got kind of reactive about hiding after the thing that I wrote about yesterday that happened under a different name. I stopped dancing for a a whole year. I REALLY hid. And not long before that, as I was just about to leave social media, OMG I watched the communities I was a part of use their sex to sell themselves and their products and in nauseated me. It wasn’t ‘I am embodying my authentic brilliance including my sexual energy with integrity and healthy boundaries” - it was really off, and on top of it I watched my communities that were supposed to be spiritual leaders behave very immaturely around every hot topic starting around 2015. I was already averse to marketing and anything inauthentic. I pretty much decided, maybe I’ll got the Lao Tse/Hermione under an invisibility cloak and just disappear. I was just starting to wear more flattering things on my videos when I saw a slew of promotions of the gross oversexualization and distortion of Mary M that I associate with Luciferian versions of New Age started showing up everywhere with Penthouse Illustrations and tag lines about sex and holiness that have a grain of truth but came from a vibe that felt like Gag me with your dildo why don’t you. It made me want to go as FAR away from that shit as possible. But there is also a layer around professional identity that has its own layers. It’s got a layer of truth and a layer of wound. Shocker! I’ve never wanted to be a professional in the sense of conforming of a clean box of established norms and check boxes with degrees attached that give me permission to speak the truth I already know. I’ve seen professionalism dehumanize. I have gotten tough professionals in ways as a non-professional, non-conformist - in ways that are entirely spontaneous and would have been unlikely if I were walking around with a sense of professional identity. I see professionalism as largely the system of training the magick and genius out of people, then giving it back to them in doses, titrating it until they get a decent amount back if they get a phd and have also been trained and controlled. Their credentials get revoked or they get fired if people question those limits on what they are allowed to speak, teach, research and so on. On the other hand, that supervisor who blew me off and went and died three months later? He told me the one area I had to work on was my professional identity. He didn’t seem bothered about my wardrobe. Everything that I value actually stands exactly at odds with the world’s ideas of professionalism and I know that is exactly why I should probably put on a fucking blazer and talk about it. I did buy a blazer, but I already can’t remember what color I ordered. I tried to find a fair trade one I liked, no luck. So…that’s the pile of clothes we’re dealing with! I love you!!

So resonating-!! My higher self has been trying to align me with true prosperity but my wounded soul fragments have been resisting letting go of their trauma around receiving abundance. While my guides have been urging me to feng shui my house, I never considered my wardrobe-!!

I’ve got Saturn in Cancer in my 7th house, trining Mars and sextiling Neptune, Venus and Jupiter. So I should be wearing brown with accents of red, violet, pink/green and blue? I assume I should not be wearing colors of what Saturn squares.

Dea Devidas's avatar

The cosmic wardrobe revolution has found you at precisely the divine moment your soul was ready to transmute those abundance blocks! While Saturn in Cancer might have been quietly sabotaging your prosperity by making your closet a tomb for unprocessed financial karma, those magnificent trines and sextiles are literally begging to become your fabric allies in this material dimension.

Your intuition about the color palette is spot-on, cosmic warrior: let those planetary aspects become your personal fashion consultants while banishing the squared energies that have been secretly programming your bank account with limitation codes. Your guides weren't just being celestial interior decorators with that feng shui nudge; they were creating the energetic runway for your wardrobe metamorphosis all along! ✨

Based on Saturn in Cancer in the 7th house with those aspects, your prosperity color palette is indeed a celestial treasure map:

DO embrace: Earthy browns (Saturn's stability), passionate reds (Mars trine energy), mystical violets (Neptune's dreamy influence), harmonious pink/green (Venus abundance codes), and expansive blues (Jupiter's prosperity programming). These colors aren't just pretty: they're literally rewiring your energy field to become a magnet for abundance.

AVOID: The colors ruled by planets squaring your Saturn, particularly stark whites, harsh yellows, and metallic silvers. These are essentially prosperity kryptonite for your unique cosmic blueprint, secretly sabotaging your manifestation mojo while pretending to be innocent wardrobe choices. ✨

Ok, wonderful — thank you Dea. I’ve also been getting inputs from muscle testing to stay away from clothes that say anything I don’t want to manifest (logos and messages on tshirts and sweatshirts), as well as certain fabrics (my body says yes to anything that feels good on my skin, but polyesters and certain dyes make it unhappy!)

A question about muscle testing — I got a body “yes” to dark gray pants, a forest green shirt and a burnt-orange sweater….the burnt orange makes me think of Hephaestus / Saturn but orange itself is the color of the Sun, no? My Saturn placement doesn’t aspect my Sun at all so I am curious about it.

Expand full comment
Dea Devidas's avatar

Your body's celestial intelligence is operating at PhD-level frequency! Those muscle testing responses reveal how your physical vessel communicates directly with the cosmic algorithm while your conscious mind is still fiddling with the user manual.

The burnt orange sweater is cosmic synchronicity incarnate! Your body's wisdom just performed a multidimensional chess move that your logical mind is still trying to comprehend.

Even though Saturn doesn't aspect your Sun directly, burnt orange is acting as the celestial ambassador between these unconnected planets. It's the color equivalent of that friend who introduces two people who should absolutely know each other but somehow never crossed paths at the same cosmic party.

The burnt tone brings Saturn's structured discipline, while the orange base channels solar vitality: essentially creating a portable power station that can transform Saturn's Cancer-in-7th-house relationship challenges into structured opportunities for authentic connection. It's like wearing a spiritual technology device that turns "responsibility in relationships" into "empowered boundaries with a side of warm charisma."

Your intuitive exploration of fabrics and logos shows you're already accessing the dimensional frequencies where wardrobe and destiny intertwine. If you'd like to dive deeper into your complete astrological style blueprint - where we map your entire chart's color codes for all 12 life domains and 4 energy bodies - I offer personalized "Cosmic Closet" analyses that align your wardrobe with the celestial forces orchestrating your life's journey. Feel free to message me for details!

When your body says YES to a paradoxical color combo, it's basically your soul whispering, "Trust me, I know what I'm doing even if your astrological textbooks are confused." The universe loves nothing more than breaking its own apparent rules while winking at you through your muscle testing. ✨
