December 2025: Fog, Fire, and One Open Door
(A love letter from the Field to your nervous system)
December doesn’t ease you in. It sharpens your tongue on the 4th, slams a wall in front of your momentum on the 8th, lifts a fog you didn’t know you were living in on the 10th, then immediately drops you into the thickest confusion of the year on the 14th.
But here’s the plot twist your nervous system already registered: By the 15th, your scattered fire becomes a laser. By the 19th, your dreams demand skeletons. By the 21st, the longest night asks if you still believe in anything. By the 24th, love stops performing and starts building. And by the 29th, a corridor opens that won’t open again in quite this way.
This month is not for controlling. It’s for surfing.
That strange pressure behind your sternum around November 28th? That wasn’t holiday stress. That wasn’t the pie. That was your body pre-loading frequencies before your conscious mind got the memo. Your cells started reading December while your personality was still arguing about Thanksgiving leftovers.
You’re not anxious. You’re antenna.
And December is broadcasting on frequencies your meat suit was designed to receive, while your personality is still buffering like it’s running on 2003 WiFi and someone in the other room is downloading the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe without telling anyone. Your thoughts are loading at 12%. Your body? Already finished the movie and has opinions about the ending.
December 4th ✦ The Channel Opens
(Full Moon in Gemini)
Today your thoughts aren’t racing. They’re tuning. Something in your throat wants to speak, and for once it’s not anxiety wearing a communication costume. It’s signal. Clean signal. The kind that changes a relationship with one sentence you’ve been holding for months.
Your inner translator wakes up today. The one who knows which words are yours and which ones you borrowed from your mother’s fear, your ex’s criticism, and that one podcast you listened to at 2am that you really should stop letting make decisions for you.
You might feel it under your ribs. A hum. An opening. Like your chest became a doorway and forgot to ask permission.
What this gives you: Clarity that cuts. The ability to say the true thing simply.
Your move: One conversation. One honest sentence. Not a monologue. Not a TED talk about your feelings. Not a 38-minute voice note your friend will listen to at 1.5x speed while doing dishes. Just the thing that’s been waiting. Say it clean, say it warm, then stop talking. Let it land.
(And maybe don’t send that 11pm email. You know the one. The one that makes you the person who replies-all at 11pm with opinions nobody requested and then wakes up in a cold sweat wondering if you should send a follow-up clarifying that you didn’t mean it like THAT. You meant it like that. Sleep on it.)
December 8th ✦ The Purposeful Pause
(Mars square Saturn)
You’re ready to move. Reality isn’t. This isn’t a block. This is a frequency mismatch, like showing up to a door three minutes before it unlocks and mistaking “not yet” for “never.”
Your body might feel half a step ahead of everything today. Like everyone else is moving through honey while somehow also being in your way. Frustrating? Absolutely. Also: accurate. You ARE ahead. That’s why you’re waiting. Not because you’re stuck, but because the bridge is still being built and walking into empty air isn’t brave, it’s just gravity having opinions about your enthusiasm.
What this gives you: Rhythm sovereignty. The power to pause without collapsing. Without making it mean something about your worth. Without texting your friend “maybe I’m just not meant for this” at 4pm on a Wednesday.
Your move: Hand on chest. Ask your body one question: “Now or later?” Don’t answer with your mind. Your mind has OPINIONS. Your mind has a PowerPoint presentation about why you should push through. Ignore the PowerPoint. Wait for the body. It speaks slower. It speaks truer. A settling means later. A rising means now.
(The GPS is recalculating. Let it. Screaming at the dashboard doesn’t make the road go where you want it to go. The road doesn’t care about your deadline. The road is just being road.)
December 10th ✦ Eyes Open
(Neptune stations Direct)
The fog lifts. And you might not love everything you see.
For months, there’s been a soft filter on your perception. Made things dreamier. Made waiting feel like wisdom. Made almost-love feel like destiny. Made “situationship” sound like “slow-burning depth” instead of what it actually was: two people too scared to ask for what they want, calling it “going with the flow.”
Today that filter clicks off.
This isn’t loss. This is focus.
What’s real will still be real. What was only beautiful in the blur... let it go. It was never going to survive clarity anyway. And honestly? You knew. Part of you always knew. That part is relieved right now. Let it be relieved.
What this gives you: Perception without romantic delay. The ability to see AND still believe in magic. They’re not opposites. They never were. That was just something confusion told you so you wouldn’t leave.
Your move: Look at one thing you’ve been avoiding. Not to fix it. Just to see it accurately. Let your nervous system update its files. It’s been running on outdated information because you kept telling it “maybe it’ll change.” It didn’t change. Let your body know. It can handle the truth. It’s been waiting for the truth.
(Stop performing CPR on a dream that expired in September. It’s not romantic. It’s just Tuesday night denial with extra steps. Let it be dead. Something truer is waiting.)
December 14th ✦ The Fog Day
(Mars square Neptune)
Mark this one. Circle it. Tattoo it on your decision-making hand. Tell your impulsive self to take the day off.
Your gut is online today. But the cable is wet. Information comes through, then shapeshifts before you can grab it. You’re not confused. The SIGNAL is confused. Big difference. Important difference. The kind of difference that saves you from signing a lease, sending that text, or agreeing to something your body is quietly screaming about while your mind says “but it feels RIGHT.”
This is the day when “I just know” is actually “I just feel strongly about something I cannot verify yet.” And those two things feel identical, which is exactly the problem, and also why this day has a warning label.
What this gives you: The gift of waiting. The wisdom of “I don’t know yet.” The surprisingly powerful move of doing absolutely nothing irreversible while the signal clears.
Your move: Nothing. Literally nothing permanent. Wait 48 hours. That’s it. By the 16th, you’ll see what you can’t see today. The wait costs you nothing. The premature decision could cost you months of cleanup and at least three “I should have listened to myself” journal entries.
(This is the day your GPS confidently navigates you into a lake while insisting you’ve reached your destination. The confidence is real. The lake is also real. Don’t be in the lake. Respect the lake day. Stay on shore.)
December 15th ✦ Fire With A Direction
(Mars enters Capricorn)
Something clicks. The scattered energy of the past weeks suddenly has a spine.
You know that feeling when you’ve been circling a project for weeks, opening the document, staring at it, closing it, making tea, opening it again, adding one sentence, checking your phone, wondering if you’re fundamentally broken as a human being? That ends today. Not because you forced it. Because the frequency shifted and suddenly your will has a SHAPE.
Mars has been in Sagittarius for weeks, acting like a golden retriever who just discovered espresso. Enthusiasm everywhere. Follow-through nowhere. Starting seventeen projects, finishing zero, calling it “exploring options.” Now Mars enters Capricorn and suddenly remembers it’s actually a wolf with a plan, a schedule, and a very specific prey in mind. The golden retriever era is over. Welcome to the “I actually finish things now” era.
What this gives you: Completion energy. The will that can sustain itself. Spine that works.
Your move: Start one thing. Not five. Not the whole list. One. The one that matters. The one you’ve been circling like it might bite you. Begin it today. Just the first step. Your body will carry the rest. It’s been waiting for permission to focus. The permission is today. This is the permission.
(You don’t have to prove anything. You just have to finish something. One thing. All the way. Your future self will send you a thank you note.)
December 19th ✦ The Seed That Wants Roots
(New Moon in Sagittarius)
Your dream is tired of floating. It wants ground. It wants steps. It wants to stop being a Pinterest board and start being “here’s what I’m doing Tuesday.”
This is the night when Desire and Structure sit at the same table, look at each other, and finally admit they’ve been in love this whole time but too scared to commit. Your vision stops asking “what if?” and starts asking “what’s my first move?” This is not loss of magic. This is magic with a calendar. Magic with a verb. Magic that shows up.
What this gives you: The capacity to hold your own ambition without dropping it when it gets real. To want something AND build toward it. At the same time. In the same body. Without needing to be “ready” first.
Your move: One intention. One action. Not the whole staircase. Just: “I want this” + “Here’s my first step.” Write it down. Do the step. That’s the seed planted. The moon will water it. The rest is rhythm.
(No more vision boards without calendars. No more manifestation without movement. The universe is collaborative, not delivery. You have to show up too. This is you showing up.)
December 21st ✦ The Longest Night
(Winter Solstice)
Tonight the dark is longest. And it’s asking one question: After everything... do you still believe?
Not naive belief. Not spiritual bypassing in a cozy sweater. Real belief. The kind that has seen loss, held grief, watched doors close in its face, and still keeps a candle lit anyway. Not because it knows everything will work out. Because giving up hurts worse than continuing.
Everything that broke this year is asking for integration. Not fixing. Composting. The heart reshaping around what it now knows. This isn’t damage. This is maturation. There’s a difference, and your body knows which one this is.
What this gives you: Mature faith. Hope with teeth. Trust that doesn’t need guarantees because it’s not betting on outcome. It’s betting on you. It’s always been betting on you.
Your move: Light something. A candle. A fire. A single match if that’s what you’ve got. Sit with it. Let your body remember what your ancestors knew: in darkness, fire means we continue. Simple. Ancient. True. You continue.
(Grief isn’t the enemy tonight. Grief is the door. The only way out is through. You know this. You’ve always known this. The resistance is the suffering. The grief itself is just weather, and you’ve survived worse weather.)
December 24th ✦ Love That Stays
(Venus enters Capricorn)
Your heart gets heavier today. Not sad-heavy. Gravity-heavy. Suddenly love isn’t about butterflies. It’s about building. Who can you count on? Who counts on you? Who’s still standing there when the sparkle fades and the real work begins and nobody’s posting about it?
This is love with a spine. Not cold. Not demanding. Not making people fill out applications before you let them close. Just... honest about what it wants to build. And with whom. And for how long.
What this gives you: Relationship clarity. The ability to offer loyalty and ask for it in return. Without games. Without tests. Without pretending you don’t need anything because needing things feels dangerous.
Your move: Do one reliable thing for someone you love. Not grand. Not performative. Not for Instagram. Steady. Small. The kind of love that shows up the same way twice. The kind that builds trust through repetition, not gestures.
(The butterflies were nice. But they always die by February and then what? What you actually need is someone who stays when the butterflies are gone and real intimacy begins. Including you. You staying for you. That counts. That might be the most important one.)
December 29th ✦ The Corridor
(Mars sextile North Node)
A window opens. Not forever. Just now.
The action you take today has unusual weight. It lands differently. It bends your timeline toward something you’ve been wanting but not quite reaching, like the universe suddenly noticed your effort and decided to match it for once.
This isn’t dramatic. It’s not stressful. It’s just precise. What you do now matters more than usual. The Field is paying attention. Your future self is watching. Not judging. Just... watching to see if you’ll show up this time.
What this gives you: Momentum that sticks. A step that counts triple.
Your move: One real action toward your 2026 self. The application. The message. The beginning. The thing you keep saying “next week” about. This is the week. Today is the day. Don’t wait for perfect. Perfect isn’t coming. Perfect is a procrastination technique in a fancy dress. Ready is already here. It’s wearing your body. It’s reading these words. It’s waiting for you to stop waiting.
(You’re not going to miss this one. I know you. You’re going to walk through.)
December in One Breath
The month is a wave:
Signal opens: speak. Wall rises: pause. Fog lifts: see. Fog thickens: wait. Fire focuses: move. Night falls: feel. Love gets heavy: stay. Door opens: walk.
Your body knows the rhythm. It’s known longer than your mind has been paying attention. Your cells have been reading this month since before your calendar flipped. Your bones are already aligned with frequencies your personality will catch up to by January.
You’re not following the stars. You’re reading the Field through your own nervous system. The planets are just timestamps. Your body is the instrument. And the instrument is tuned. Has been tuned. Is ready.
You’re ready. You’ve been ready. Now you know. 🔥✨💎
Paid subscribers, keep reading.
A throat that unlocks clarity. A wall that holds you instead of blocking you. Eyes that fall into the heart. A spine that remembers it’s a laser. A flame in your bowl when the night asks too much.
One practice. One body. One frequency at a time.
Your cells don’t shift because you read about energy. They shift because you give them something to DO.
This is that something. 🔥And everything.
December Practices: The Somatic Survival Kit
You read the forecast. You know what’s coming. Fog, fire, open doors, and at least one day where your GPS confidently drives you into a lake.

This was my first glimpse of the wild micro adjustments and the macro torque of December. I also felt pressure under the ribs and, with Mercury direct in Scorpio, self-expression is getting a primal excavation. I enjoyed this piece.
